This hidden treasure is unlike any other local spot where we've eaten. The decor inside is very European with layers of lace curtains, a grotto and little strings of lights.
Service is attentive and prompt.
The menu is probably Croatian with schnitzel, red cabbaage and spaetzle (not sure about spelling!) as well as more common Canadian dishes.
We all ordered the Croatian mains and were very pleased-well cooked & seasoned and most enjoyable.
Strudel and black forest cake for dessert also didn't disappoint.
We would recommend it and plan to return-a quiet little spot with a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.
