We only stayed here one night but wished that we had more time to stay longer. It is right next to Domaine de Grand Pre and you can look out at the vineyards. The host was welcoming and told us to go look at the overlook for the new UNESCO World Heritage site which was not even open yet. You can walk to it from the sunset deck that is at the back of the inn. Breakfast was delicious french toast and bacon. A great experience!

We stumbled upon the Olde Lantern by chance and were thrilled with the outcome. Our two-night stay in the 'Marechal Foch' room was lovely. The room was the perfect size for two and the jacuzzi tub was a treat! We were especially charmed by the perfect spot to watch the sun go down and share a bottle of wine. We enjoyed our time here so much we purchased a night for my parents for their upcoming anniversary. We will most certainly be visiting again!

Great visit and great B&B! The host Al is a great connector and Inn keeper! The weather was perfect and so were the recommendations from Al and the B&B over all. While this was our first visit it won't be our last.

I've read the negative reviews and gotta tell you, from my perspective, the reviews were overindulged whiners that would complain while staying at the Ritz. So take there comments with a grain of salt!

Our experience was top notch and highly recommend a stay at this Inn at your first opportunity.

We had a wonderful experience and the staff were wonderful and helpful. I took my girlfriend there on a friends recommendation and I managed to propose to her in the vineyard and it just so happened that a wedding next door set off a 5 minute fireworks show just as I got down on one knee. I couldn't have planned it better myself. A customer for life.

Beautiful, cozy, thoughtful and more than you would ever expect. Alan and Sherrie made us feel like we were visiting old friends. Set in the middle of a post card setting with wonderful rooms.
Alan gave us spot on suggestions of where to spend our time and keeps an eye on all his guests and their needs. Staying at this Inn really made our whole trip.

Excellent service and detailed area information provided. Personable hosts, relaxing atmosphere, lots of little things that added to the experience. Annapolis Valley wines are surprisingly good, although not up to West Coast standards: as usual, people in that industry are very friendly & outgoing. Several interesting spots for lunch in town, and Le Caveau next door is great for dinner. Some difficulty with internet connection (if you can't get away from it all).
PS: ask Al about his astronomy ap.

We stayed one night at The Olde Lantern Inn and Vineyard. Could have moved in. It was terrific. We had the separate entranced bedroom suite, "the wine cellar" - very comfortable, well appointed, really good bathroom, lots of room, the bed was super comfortable and a spectacular view of the vineyards and the Valley. Just outside the room lay the vineyards and a comfortable platform to sit and take in the soothing view of the Valley and the headlands. Birds were tweeting and life was just grand in this spot. Very pleasant breakfast. Hosts were friendly and went the extra mile and left a beautiful bottle of wine and a card for our anniversary visit. Sweet!

Room Tip: Choose from two separate entranced rooms if they are available.
