On the surface this should be an exceptional place. After all it has one of the nicest locations in Nova Scotia, with a large wharfside patio overlooking Chester's Front Harbour. The food is usually decent although not overly ambitious. However the service is painfully slow on regular nights and virtually nonexistent on busy nights. On our last visit we were told when we arrived that it would be 45 minutes to an hour to get our order, and then 20 minutes later we were advised that it would be two hours as the kitchen was backed up. Sadly this is normal. It often takes 20 minutes just to have your order taken, and it's not uncommon for tables that were seated long after you to get their food first.
