Our host in Lunenburg recommended a stop at the Rope Loft on our way back to Halifax for lunch. Boy are we glad we didn't miss this restaurant. OK, so it was a crystal clear day with a perfect temperature. The lunch crowd was light. Our table on the deck had an unobstructed view of the harbor. What a way to prep us for the food. We have had countless lobster rolls from Connecticut to Canada. These were the best ever. My wife commented that the accompanying french fries might be the best we have ever had also. Top that off with a good beer and lunch was absolutely delightful - all served by a very pleasant waitress. We've been home a week now and not a day goes by without one of us commenting about that lunch and we wish we were back there on the deck.
