The meals were quite good, generous in proportion and the service on the outside patio was excellent. Our waiter was more than attentive but not intrusive. Thank you for the nice evening meal and drinks.

We really enjoyed sitting outside and getting a table with an umbrella. The view is fantastic. While the service was slow (it was the weekend), we had time so we weren't too concerned. The food was OK, nothing special, but we only had fish and chips.

I enjoy the wine, garlic cheese bread, mussels, seafood pasta and key lime pie cheesecake!! I like that the deck is on the water and that we can dock then dine!

We went to the Rope Loft for the first time in several years because we learned that Josh (formerly of Top of Main Cuisine) was now in their kitchen along with some other new but experienced pub cooks. We arrived at the end of a lunch rush and they were a little short staffed but the bartender fixed us up with a couple of pints while he got us an excellent sever. My husband ordered fish and chips, best he has had in a long time - he even commented that the tartar sauce seemed homemade because it had extra gherkins. I had an expertly char-grilled burger, juicy and loaded with toppings. My only suggestion would be to ditch the "coated" fries, handcuts with a bit of skin on them are so much better

Perfect spot right on the water - food was uninspired. Nothing was bad, it just didn't have much "pizazz" - pretty basic. Was told they have a new chef, so hopefully things will improve as it is such a pretty & convenient location.
