Drive on by unless you are OK with pre packaged Kraft tartar & cocktail sauce and canned vegetables. However, the enclosed outdoor patio has a fantastic view on Ingonish Bay. The staff & service is good but the quality of food leaves a lot to be desired......I should have ordered only a baked potato. Wish we would have searched around a little more

“good food, good value, cool view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

I agree with the other reviewers - good, fast, friendly service; the food was good - our salmon and scallops were fresh and very tasty; the baked potato was delicious; veggies and coleslaw weren't that great. The pie was good. The view of the Ingonish Bay was perfect!! Overall, excellent for the value and you will leave with a feeling of having eaten well!

“Great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013 via mobile

Well earned for its #1 spot in Ingonish. Save your appetite for this place! Lobster club sandwich was the best all trip and the seafood chowder was so full of seafood it is a big meal on itself. To top it off the home made biscuits were great!

“Great - Vastly Better Than Coastal”

Great restaurant. Everything was good. Service was great, the view was outstanding, and the food was great. Vastly better the The Coastal Restaurant down the road.

“Terrific place - great value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

My wife and I had supper at the Seagull and enjoyed the beautiful view from the outside porch as well as the prompt, friendly service. My wife had the lobster club sandwich and I had the fish & chips. Both were great -- the fish & chips was one of best I've had in the Maritimes, with delicate batter and not greasy. For dessert, we got their last piece of coconut cream pie for the day, which we loved. The prices were reasonable and I would be glad to go back.
