We really enjoyed our stay at Glenghorm Beach Resort. You get more value for your dollar with one of their newly built suits. we arrived a bit down due to the rainy weather but decided to walk just outside our suits door along the beach while our wine cooled in the fridge. After some beautiful secenary, there was nothing better than coming back to a spacious room, warm fireplace, and a chilled bottle of wine.
Later that evening we had the the most delicious mussles and a bottle of local beer for only $12 per person at "the most popular pub in town" The Thristy Hiker, which is part of the resort. Once we were ready for dinner, we headed upstairs to the crofters table for an amazing lobster capellini and seafood platter, which was reasonably priced. After we enjoyed our quiet dinner we went back downstairs to watch some live music by a local favorite Buddy Macdonald and had a glass of Glen Breton Scotch. "the only true Scotch Whisky brewed outside of Scotland".
To finish off the night we both soaked in the jacuzzi tub and hit the king size bed for a good nights rest. Life is Good!
