“Breathtaking views, friendly...an item for everyone's bucket list!”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

This Park was exceptional. The views, the information, the trails were all amazing. Beautiful! We haven't seen any wildlife, but we will go back again. If you are visiting the area of the Maritime Provinces, you must include this National Park. The Cabot Trail is 187 miles/252 km and quite the winding drive. You can drive it in 5 hours but that does not include any time for sightseeing, hiking, whale watching, eating, or visiting any of the local artisans. If you are on Nova Scotia, plan to stay for at least two days, but 5-7 days will give you a great visit.

“Must take at least a week and 5 hikes or more”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

This IS GOD's country! So very beautiful and well maintained by the park service. Hiking trails are very well marked and well maintained, as far as nature (water and wind) will allow. Go slow, see it all. Stop often and talk to the most friendly people in Canada. Such great landscape and look-offs. Sea views are breathtaking. Sunsets on the water at the Mid-Trail Motel are the best you will find.

“Do not try to do it all in one day”
Reviewed June 28, 2014

We did the entire Cabot Trail loop, including the National park, and a side trip to Meat Cove, in 1 twelve hour day, because several locals told us we could. Big mistake. Way too much, don't do it that way. The park has amazing landscape, seascape and look-offs, and you will want to take your time, which may mean 2 days and an overnight somewhere on the Cabot trail. The park is well worth the admission, and has many opportunities for camping, hiking and sightseeing, so spend some time and enjoy as much as you can. If you are afraid of heights like I am, you may find parts of this difficult driving.

“Gorgeous”

Amazing views, blue ocean and green hills, peaceful and beautiful. We did the Cabot Trail, and it's just as great as they say, may be even more, at least for me!

“Beautiful East Coast Scenery”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

This is a beautiful area to drive, but more importantly, to stop & enjoy the different local culture. Go about clockwise for the better view, & stop often at look outs & for local food.
You'll start on the Calilidh trail—pronounced "Kaylee."
It was settled mainly by highland Scots and their heritage is proudly show.
Now if they could just get their roads fixed, it would be even more enjoyable.
Spend at least one night on the Cape.
