We stayed at the Acadian motel and were very pleased with room. There is a small fridge, microwave, flat screen tv and wireless internet. The bathroom is large and very strong water pressure. Ice and coffee are available in the office.
The propriator Ron is very helpful and informative of where to eat and where to go in the area.
It has a lovely ocean view and whale watching tours are available across the street and walking distance to local restaurants. It is close to the start of the Cabot Trail.
Side note, there is a Tim Horton's about 2 km down the road.
I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: pick a room near the end so you have a deck with water view.

The host is very friendly and the location is nice. You can walk to the important places in the village. It is right on the Cabot Trail highway, so is everything in Cape Breton. the traffic noise dies off quickly at sunset.

Stayed one night before going around trail. Gentleman in office very friendly and full of information on where to eat, things to do etc. Stayed in room on end so had a huge deck to sit out on and enjoy the water and sites. Busy street so fun to sit and have a glass of wine and take it all in. Room itself was older but had a fridge and microwave and was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Room was also very quiet even though we were beside the road. Great place to stroll around, there are a few shops, bank, pharmacy, dollar store, groceries. As well as wharfs with boats, whale tours, etc. Very close to trail. Had A/C. Great price.

Room Tip: Room on each end, large deck space with chairs and excellent view. Anyone can use deck but easy access from end rooms

We found the person in the office very helpful and the room was spotless and we enjoyed the patio over looking the harbor and we loved the area close to everything. The air conditioner was great as was the internet and TV. Very handy having a fridge and microwave in the room too we had room # 10 and really liked it. You can tell a lot of effort goes into the cleaning of this Motel. We would not have any problems recommending this Motel and would defiantly stay again.

This was a perfect place to end the day after traveling the Cabot Trail. We had a room with 3 double beds for a very reasonable price. The recommendations for dinner and breakfast were perfect!! This was one of our nicest evenings on Cape Breton Island. The setting at the edge of the water is great. It is a nice quiet area.
