Great museum. Gave us a feel for what goes into a hooked rug. For those not into rugs, it still has a lot of history and neat antique tools, household items, etc. that helps to explain the Acadian culture.

This little museum was very interesting and the hooked rugs will blow your mind! The artist who created the rugs also left her household items to the museum and so there is a section where you get a window into the history of Cheticamp.

This wonderful place is a combination of several different functions and it does them all very well. It is a museum that fondly shows a lot of the local Acadian history. It features a fantastic display of some of the best rug hooking products anywhere in North America and this is worth seeing by itself. It has PCs you can use for Acadian genealogical research and it has a pile of local tourist information. The staff is excellent and helpful.

Excellent tour of a beautiful art kept alive here in Cheticamp. The amazing rugs are works of art, and the docents very knowledgeable . Worthwhile tour

The museum gave me a lot of perspective on the history and people on the north western part of Cape Breton.
