We should have just walked out when we were greeted by the waitress with "We are really busy and its going to be awhile because these people have already ordered and they are ahead of you". Granted all of the tables were full but there is only 8 tables in the whole restaurant!
We were there about 10 minutes before she even took our drink order. The 3 of us ordered diet sodas which were delivered in their can about 15 minutes later (without a glass).
We ordered poutine as an appetizer and it was delivered about 3 minutes before our entree. The entrees (hot roast beef and hot turkey sandwiches) were not hot.. lukewarm at best!
Unfortunately, there are not a lot of choices for places to eat in Cape North or we definitely would not have hung around as long as we had.

A family diner. Very unpretentious but just warm and generous in their service. Blake was amazing. Food was fresh and made to order. Good service and even although constantly busy food time from order to table was great . Lovely to see establishments like these which take such pride in what they do and how they do it . A pleasure. I wish them every success for a very long time. It has family soul.

The location feels pretty remote, but the food is worth stopping for. A small space, but good portions, friendly service and convenient parking. Try the fish and chips!

We stopped on our way to Bay of St Lawrence and ordered a veggie pizza. Tons of veggies (especially olives) and a lot of cheese. We had it for dinner and lunch the next day!
