Came in 2 hrs before closing. Strange fixed price menu--i know now why you pay before you eat. Lobster meal is okay for the price. One of our party ordered the salmon plate for $25--the fish piece was the size of a dollar bill, overpriced as the only extras with the plate is a salad. No chowder or even beverage included. Nearly tasteless and overlooked and dry. The all-u-can eat dinner is a lot of average. Lobster was rubbery, plastic seafood picks that break, average mussels, average desserts. Poor service too. Nothing to redeem them.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Baddeck Lobster Suppers last week. We had the best planked salmon we ever had in a restaurant. It was moist and the glaze was delicous. The service was friendly, prompt and our server was more than happy to have us take advantage of the additional mussels we ordered that are included in the price of your entree. The baked potato with the meal was hot and delicious, as well, the side salads were home made and tasty. Wonderful selection of desserts if you have room. We didn't and our server packed one up for my husband to enjoy later in the evening. We will definitely be back!

We went to the Lobster Suppers restaurant last night on the recommendation of a local. It was strange to pay (and tip) upfront, but we figured " when in Rome." The meal was spread over an hour and a half with plenty of waiting in between. Granted, they were busy but... When our lobsters came they were a ball of salt...barely edible. If we weren't so hungry by that point and if we had any hope that getting another lobster would be better, we would have sent them back. I have had lobsters many times in Maine and I can tell you they should not be salty. So, buyer beware!
