    Clean and comfortable with great views

    As we pulled up to the house and walked in the door it was one of the few times that accomodations lived up to what the website represented.

    We stayed in the Cameron House which is located up a hill behind the cottages. The house is very spacious, clean and well equiped including all kitchen utensils and a small outdoor gas grill. We found the nearby restaurants expensive and underwhelming and preferred to cook in. However, you may want to bring your own groceries as the local supplies are expensive and selection is limited (we couldn't find fresh fish or shellfish anywhere).

    The cottages are located right on Route 105, but are far enough off the road that noise is not an issue.

    If you need a comfortable base to explore the Cabot Trail McIntyre's is highly recommended.

    Beautifully appointed cottage with view...

    Beautifully appointed cottage with view of Bras d'Or Lake. Felt like a real apartment with lovely interior and felt spacious. Very friendly, helpful staff. Loved the location.

    great view, clean and comfortable

    Great view, reasonable cost, baddeck is a charming little town. Five minute drive or less into town. Very friendly and accomodating staff.

    Superb place

    Stayed in a lovely single bedroom cottage on top of a snow-covered hill overlooking the
    Bras d'Or lake. Fell in love with the place the moment we saw it. Very clean cottage, no
    phone, TV present, propane-fired fireplace, beautiful sunset from a wooden verandah, very
    friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast is not included probably because the cottage has a
    kitchenette too. The only problem I had was with a low internet signal that kept
    disconnecting- which you won't feel like using in a place like this anyways. Would gladly
    recommend this place.

    Fabulous

    We had a great stay at the cottages. We were pretty much gone during the day sightseeing, Its very central and easy to get to. How wonderful to come back after a full day and your cottage is tidied up. Beautiful view of the Bras Dor Lakes. Eagle flew by one morning and it was a really beautiful sight. Cottages and land are kept in great shape. The only thing we did not like was the fact that you have to share a BBQ with your neighbors. It was a great price and for the service totally worth it.
