“Not in our plans, so glad we went!”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

We found this museum to be above average, extremely interesting, and informative. The works and passions of Mr. Bell and his family are tastefully and professionally displayed. He was a fascinating person with many interests, we had no idea he had done so much more than the telephone. The setting for the museum is beautiful and it is easy to imagine Mr. Bell and his colleagues testing out their hydroplane boats and relaxing along the waters of Bras D'Or lakes. Don't miss this experience.

“Excellent All The Way”

Well thought out exhibits detail the life of Bell and his contributions, which went far beyond the telephone. What a wonderfully inquiring mind he had!

“Didn't know what to Expect - it was very interesting”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

My husband and I were driving through Baddeck and decided to stop off at the museum. We were hesitant at first but are so glad that we went. It was a quality museum that told the story of Bell, his accomplishments and colleagues. It's worth visiting to view the photographic collection of Bell and his family. Simply amazing and we learned a lot about him!

“a unexpected treat to find here...I had no idea...”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

I learned so much about Bell the man here I never knew... with some fine displays of his contributions to the Silver Dart and his amazing hydrofoil boat as well as many smaller items that fill out the picture of a man obsessed with fixing and improving things. What a fertile mind !...and his committment to teach the deaf to speak was noble and humanizing to learn about this 'great man' we always learn about in grade school. Lovely setting and a nicely arranged museum. loved it.
