August is a good time to visit this area. Beautiful facility, friendly people and great signage to find this park. We returned for their 'fall market' and enjoyed the second visit more than the first. This is a 'kid friendly' facility, great displays to encourage children 'hand-on' in their interest for this man.

Lots of good information for you to read and some videos to watch if you like history.
The average kid might find it boring.

I was surprised with how big and well-done this museum is. The size is deceptive at the reception area - it looked quite small and I was wondering if it would be worth the entrance fee; it sure was. I thought we'd spend maybe half an hour here, but my husband and I easily spent two hours!

The museum has an interactive display on Bell's various inventions and interests, a comprehensive time-line, a couple of theatres, and lots of displays, write-ups and artifacts (small and big!). I had no idea Bell was involved in so many different things. This museum is packed with information and interesting do-dads that you can easily spend a couple of hours wandering through.

There's also a good coffee/sweets spot here (good cupcakes!) and small gift shop. You can even fly a kite!

it was end of season and we were lucky to find it open, but a 'cruise' trip were visiting. The museum was well laid out and very informative, with good short video presentations

We spent the morning at the Alexander Bell Historic site and left thinking what a guy!. This is well worth a visit as part of your Cabot Trail trip. The Site is setup to educate and entertain.
