We stayed in room 2 with a private bath across the hall. It was a little strange at first to have to go across the hall to the bathroom but we got used to it very quickly.
The room was comfortable and very relaxing. The common room had many books, a few games and maps. There was also a fridge, a few dishes and an electric kettle.
The dining room was fantastic. I would suggest making a dinner reservation when you book your room. Breakfast was not included when we were there but could be purchased. If not planning to dine at the restaurant bring your own food as it is quite far to the nearest place to eat, and you will likly not want to leave.
The hiking trails were beautiful and well marked.
There is a working lighthouse on site complete with a fog horn. Bring earplugs incase you have a foggy night!
We had a fire in the pit with the wood provided the evening we were there.
You walk down the hill to get to the residence, although arrangements can be made to get a ride down. (and back up)
