First of all, its call the Old Loft...Trip Advisor you need to update this!
My group of 8, ate well at this restaurant. Definitely one of the best restaurants in rural Newfoundland, and my traveling group were not an easy group to please. Most in my group had the moose pie or the cod o'gratin. I went for the pan-fried cod. All were very delicious - fresh, flavorful, not greasy. Given the quality of the home cooked meals, we opted for dessert too. The berry parfaits were really tasty, and the pies were fresh out of the oven. Last, we didn't leave without buying fresh bread and scones for the next mornings breakfast.
The ambiance is also nice. The chairs are converted wooden barrels, the walls are pine, there is local art on the walls, and there is a nice view of the bay.
I highly recommend a lunch here!
