Description: The Twine Loft, recommended by "Where to Eat in Canada" offers delectable dining in an ambiance created by the sound of water, the rays of the setting sun on the bay and the flicker of candle light. Dine by reservation during set sitting times or drop in for afternoon Happy Hour on the waterside deck. The In-house sommelier has designed a fine wine list accompanied by a selection of local beers and spirits. Dinner includes a set menu multi-course meal with a choice of a meat of fish dish for the main course. Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free menus are available by request. Online reservations ca be made for tables of 2 only. Please contact the Twine Loft directly for parties of a different size.

A little bit off the beaten track, but well worth finding. A limited menu, usually a decision between fish or pork/beef. But the small quaint , 12 table kitchen delivers a good meal. $42 per person and no complaints from this foursome. Even a selection of wine pairings. We had mixed berry bread pudding for desert. Mmmm-mmm good!

The staff are incredible and very accomidating. I loved the atmosphere and of course the food. The scalloped potatoes and the chicken are something that I crave on a normal basis. You have to stop by for the food and a drink out on their beautiful deck over the water. when the sun goes down it i the most beautiful and relaxing site every

This cozy little restaurant overlooking Fisher's Cove served us the most delicious five-course meal ever. The service was excellent, and everyone made us feel personally welcome. We enjoyed appetizers including a homemade soup and a salad with fresh herbs from the restaurant's garden. I don't know what the chef did to make the lamb so good and tender, and the fresh vegetables so tasty, but it was like a dream night for the palate. Dessert was great too. The total experience was so wonderful that I recommend wholeheartedly this treat for everyone. The cost was $42.00 per person, and it will be the best meal you'll have in Newfoundland. After dinner, you can relax on the deck overlooking the ocean; it is decorated like a fishing wharf with relaxing deck chairs where you can get the best after dinner drinks. The owner, Tineke Gow, and her daughter Marieke, take great care to make sure you have everything you need at the Twine Loft, and at their six equally wonderful properties at the Artisan Inn.

We were well fed with lamb shank or cod. It was a fabulous dinner even the kids polished off all their food. The service was very good and we were well looked after by our friendly server.

We had the price fixe 3 course dinner on August 13th. The Twine Loft was very accommodating. They took our reservation at the last minute and were able to provide an amazing gluten free, vegetarian option. Vegetarians will appreciate a vegetarian option that offers alternative protein instead of boring old pasta with vegetables. The gluten free bun in the bread basket was one of the best I've ever tasted. The gluten free, warm brownie for dessert was amazing. Great selection of wine. We would highly recommend the Twine Loft.
