Trinity is one of my favorite places on "The Rock". I have stayed at various B & B's of the years and this year the Artisan Inn. The accomidations were very clean and comfortable. Each room well detailed from excellent beds to the washrooms. The included breakfest had much to offer. I enduldged for eggs up with Canadien Bacon the second day; outstanding. The waitpersons are very attentive and the cooking was very flavorful. Don't be thrown by the clean Artisian for diner. The room is very warn and comfortable. The fresh cod made to perfection.
Purchase a Twine cooks cap for when home on the Barbi.
A must stay while in Trinity.

We pampered ourselves with a side trip to Trinity. The setting is idyllic and the staff is friendly and easily accessible. Make sure to enjoy your favorite beverage on the deck at sunset. You will not forget this slice of heaven.

We stayed for 3 nights and fell in love with the town of Trinity and the Artisan Inn. Quiet, well appointed and run by friendly people. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Inn for one night.
The staff was very nice. Breakfast was very adequate. We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the sunset. We lucked out with great weather which help to make the ambiance wonderful. We had dinner at the Inn as well, which was basically a set dinner with one of two choices for each part of the meal.

The Inn is actually a series of small houses and other "fisher" buildings close to the shore in this enchanting village. The beds are excellent, each room has an ensuite , most also have a sitting room with a full library and kitchen. If you are just two,you may share a house with another couple but a party travelling together can often be accommodated in one. The views are spectacular but best of all is the welcome from the Gows and their staff who treat each guest like a personal friend whom they want to make as comfortable and as happy as possible. The set breakfast is ample and tasty and the evening "table d'hote" or set menu was great value and absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the Munich Children's Choir singing their hearts out in the glorious St. Paul's Anglican Church built by local shipbuilders, the Rising Tide Theatre production hit all the right notes and a walkabout tour of Trinity by Kevin Clinch was outstanding. Do include Trinity on your NFLD and Labrador tour and do stay at the Artisan Inn--and remember to book early.

Room Tip: The lighthouse views were spectacular--sleeps four.

My husband stayed 1 night in the area and had booked at the Artisan Inn, Lovely place- clean with a lot of natural light. Make sure you have reservations for dinner. The salmon is great and even the vegetables are treated with care.
We would go again with pleasure!

I want to join the chorus of raves about the Artisan Inn, but from a slightly different perspective. Most of the guests I encountered were couples. I had a nine-year-old in tow, and I can safely say that the Artisan Inn, and Trinity more generally, work well for kids. There's lots to do: The hikes are wonderful (my daughter found the complimentary hiking poles at the Inn). The Rugged Beauty Boat Tour is exceptional. And the activities in town are good for kids as well. As for the Artisan Inn itself - the Gows combine warmth with attention to detail, which is rare. It is on the rustic side for sure, but they have done a really nice job of making the place shine. The food is also excellent (though not cheap). Beware, though, that if you need to keep in touch via cell phone the Rogers system does not work east of Clarenville. I'd return in a heart beat.
