Good on any day .. but, if you have a rainy/foggy day, this is a great spot. The site is worth a trip and a walk around in good weather , but it is a great option for that "rainy " day. It is very well set up . It contains a lot of the island history , along with a great collection of historical photos. Well worth a visit ... take 1 to 3 hours depending on your interests.

I enjoyed this scenic lighthouse and the displays that were presented inside. The information and history that was provided were top drawer and the staff were so very kind and wonderful to deal with.

The Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse is definitely worth a stop of an hour or so. The lighthouse itself is very interesting, and the views out over the water are quite spectacular. It's a good spot for photographers!

Good for a quick exterior viewing, while travelling on to a boat tour on Western Brook Pond. It's on a road with a 30 km/h speed limit.

This was among the best look out points on the Gros Morne parkway. From the parking lot you walked up to the light house and then took the path that trailed to the right. At the next fork, we took the path to the left and this led to a sort of landing on the side of the cliff that had a 180 degree view of the surrounding cliffs and coast lines.
