Sad start to our NFLD Vacation. I wish I had looked here before booking.

We arrived one evening, fresh from the airport, and drove around looking for the cabins on the ocean. We were shocked when we realized these were not on the water but rather the town graveyard.

We stayed in room 6, which is an upstairs suite with full graveyard views. Cannot look out to the ocean without splitting your view with the graves. Despite the dark night many of the graves were lit up. Gave me the creeps so much that I didn’t want to even check in but it was late and we were tired so we did. In all fairness you have a good (far) view of the ocean from here, but it is definitely not on the water as the photos would lead one to believe.

Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfy, kitchen provides all the basics. Working WiFi. Outdoor patio with barbecue is extremely un-inviting so will definitely skip.

Would not return as this is location is depressing, and exterior marketing shots are deliberately misleading. Shame on the owners for not being honest about the property location.

My friend and I stayed in an upstairs two bedroom suite. The location was perfect for us as we used it as a home base and did day hikes in the Park. Check in is at the museum and the suites are down the road a bit. We had an awesome view of the bay and had many lovely sunsets as we BBQed on the patio. Patio is small and could use an upgrade. Our suite was clean, there was a mostly fully loaded kitchen(do your own dishes or pay $50) and the beds were super comfy. They even provided lots of fresh towels. The suites aren’t sound proof and we did hear the others. Washer and dryer was for all four suites. Make sure to bring your loonies as there are no change machines.
An overall great spot.... stay there

Room Tip: Stay in upstairs suites for best views

Beautiful sunsets. Perfect location. Clean and comfortable stay. Buy groceries in Deer Lake, as recommended. Rocky Harbour is a special place and Gros Morne Suites is a great way to experience it all! Highly recommend!

These are reasonably furnished suites in nice part of rocky harbour ; things were clean and kitchens were usable for basic cooking.
The owners were extremely friendly and we had a few very windy days to complement great sunsets at this location.

My son and I stayed in Suite 6 on the upper floor. The view of the bay is lovely day or night and lots of sunset pictures to be taken. There are windows on 3 sides so great cross breeze. The rooms and bathroom were spacious and a TV was in living room and both bedrooms. There weren't a lot of channels to choose from but enough to find a movie or show - afterall we didn't come all this way to watch TV :-) The kitchen was perfect - everything we needed including tools for the BBQ on the deck. All of the rooms were decorated modern and clean. We bought minimal groceries at Endicott's to accommodate 2 breakfasts and 1 supper. Wifi worked fine. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
Went to "Kitchen Party" at Anchor Pub down the street and had fun singing, clapping and making noise.
Be sure to visit the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse that you can see from the suite.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Suite 6 on second floor was great!
