“Very friendly and great food! ”
Reviewed August 9, 2014 via mobile

If you like fresh fish and seafood, this is the place to eat at. Of course they carry chicken and beef items, but their specialty is fish, in particular cod, halibut and salmon, prepared the way you like it. All inclusive menu includes soup and desert, for around $22 which is a real bargain. I would recommend this to anyone. And, they have real tablecloths on the tables! :)

“Correctly prepared fish dishes - a delight!”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

What a nice find - and one does have to go up the hill towards the main highway to find this place - but well worth it.
A proper restaurant with white table cloths, good friendly waiting staff and - obvious when the dishes are served - a professional chef in the kitchen.
This is a fish restaurant that knows how to prepare and cook fish!
I started with the soup of the day, very nice. Beef vegetable.
Then I had the lightly battered cod, served with mash potatoes and vegetables. Followed by rhubarb cake, delicious! And finished off with coffee.
It was a fixed priced menu for $22, amazing value. The proprietors have been in this restaurant business for nearly 40 years in the same location. Congratulations. Its about time you raised your prices by 50%, no one would mind at all! It would still be a very reasonably priced menu for all those delicious courses.

“Great restaurant!”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

Our B&B host suggested this friendly restaurant just up the road and it was a find. Food was delicious - freshly made, hot corn chowder and the main course of pan fried cod - simple and flavorful. Much to our surprise we were the only diners in the restaurant - it is family run and we spoke with each member of the family working there - apparently, they don't put any effort towards publicity - but take our word for it - this is definitely worth it - a great experience of fresh food, cooked to perfection at a window table looking out to the water.
