We stayed one night and I am sorry but for close to $130.00 a night the room was dated and very small the breakfast was poor at best the view was of what!! trees the front does look out on to the bay which is down a hill over the busy main street and over some other buildings. We stayed in Cow head around 20 minutes north on the way back down at a 4.5 star which was a lot nicer and way cheaper than wild flowers.we stayed at close to 20 B&B's on this trip and tis was the worst one and also the most expensive

We usually camp in Gros Morne while visiting the park, but this trip we decided to try some local B&B's and the Wildflower Inn was the best in the area. Having booked at the Wildflower Inn at the last minute we were lucky to get a room for 2 nights in a row. However, a few days before our arrival in Rocky Harbour, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were forced to rearrange the dates for our trip. Luckily the Wildflower was able to accomodate us ... we felt welcome before we even arrived AND we were lucky enough to sample two different rooms!

The first night we stayed in the guest house which sits outside the main Inn. The view of the harbour is great and we enjoyed sitting in the sitting room of the guest house with a bottle of wine, a good book and a fresh sea breeze coming though the window. We later enjoyed another glass of wine on the front porch.

Because of our last minute changes, our second night in the park, we stayed at another B&B and we were very happy to return the the Wildflower for our third night! We stayed on the second floor at the front of the house. We had an ensuite bathroom and were located next to the small room which had a computer with free internet access for patrons. We were impressed by how quiet the Inn was at night! The decor was very comfortable and the house was extremely clean (as was the guest house).

Breakfast was great with lots of home made food and preserves and the staff & owners were very friendly and approachable at all times. We were also happy that we were only a 5 minute walk from our favorite restaurant (Java Jack's).

We will definitely be returning to the Wildflower Inn on our next visit!

We stayed at Wild Flowers for 4 nights in early September and loved our stay. We had a large cozy room with a king bed and a private sitting area. Breakfast was not really gourmet but it was fine and Lerley went out of her way to accomodate my gluten-free diet including making us a pack lunch for our climb up Gros Morne Mountain. Wildflowers was an excellent base to explore one of the most beautiful places in the world.

My husband I are originally from Nfld, but have not been back there for many years. We decided to go back for our 25th anniversary and tour the island. We selected Wild Flowers B&B from the internet and hoped for the best. Newfoundlanders are commonly known for the warm hospitality and being friendly, and our host, Lerley, proved that. We had a wonderful stay with a lovely selection for breakfast, either a light breakfast with cereal, toast, yogurt and jams, or a hot breakfast which on one day was the best oatmeal I have ever had and toast, jams juice, coffee. On the second day we had the same choice of cold breakfast or poached eggs, bacon, toast, and jams all of which was cooked perfectly. Lerley remembered how much I enjoyed the oatmeal the first day and put a small dish of it with my bacon and eggs. We stayed in the cottage at the front of the property and it was fabulous. Very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, nice sitting area and a view of the ocean. Our hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and were more than happy to offer suggestions of what to do and what to go and see. We hope to go back to Nfld again soon, and when we do, our first stop will be at Wild Flowers for sure. Thanks Lerley, you made our stay a great memory.

One of our favourite memories of our two-week trip to Newfoundland was a three-night stay at Wildflowers Country Inn, where we had a beautiful and spacious room upstairs, with a cozy sitting room next to our room, overlooking the ocean. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty, the owners and staff friendly. For a small fee, staff took care of our laundry while we went sightseeing. Our favourite restaurant, Java Jacks, is an easy stroll down the street. The B & B itself is in a good location on the main road, set back from the road among trees and flowers, a lovely place inside and out.

The family run Wild Flowers Bed and Breakfast exceeded our expectations in every way! Our three night stay was comfortable and we felt very much at home. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfasts were excellent. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, from helping us to organize our sightseeing and sharing their knowledge about the area to pampering us when we returned exhausted from a long hike. Their personal touches make this a very special place!
