I was travelling on my own and came to the Rothesay. I was immediately attracted to a fine building and its interior both of which had lots of charm. Host George met me at the door and I felt instantly at home. Everything was good about it. George took my baggage to my room and I settled in easily. I enjoyed the meals which Lynn cooked and spent time relaxing with my hosts. George was a mine of information about Newfoundland and gave me great help with my trip.
When the time came to leave I felt that I was leaving a home from home and a couple of good friends.
