This was an amazing stay. James, at the reception desk, went out of his way to welcome us and get us checked in and back on our way the following morning. Our room was large, with balcony and great view. We could hear sea gulls and fog horns through our open window.
Dinner on the premises was sophisticated cuisine, and delightful.
I highly recommend Inn at Happy Adventure.

I have stayed in hundreds of places around the world and this is one of my all time favourites!
To start the rooms are beautiful, each with a private balcony that over looks the most amazing view of the water. The beds are so comfortable you will have to force yourself out of them (the Keurig machine in the room helps with that). Each morning you are greeted with a hot breakfast of your choice at the time of your choice. Served in the dining room downstairs over looking the same amazing view. The beauty of the place does not stop there. The family that owns it, is the most beautiful part of all. ALWAYS ready to answer any questions, to help you and offer you whatever you could imagine. GENUINE people, who are incredibly interesting to talk to. No trip to Newfoundland is complete without staying here. SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are amazing and have a private balcony with a breathtaking view of the water. You w...

What a wonderful treat...Greeted by James & Charlotte & meals cooked by Chuck...
Our gorgeous room was over looking the Harbour...( so reminded us of the Gulf Islands off the Coast of Vancouver Island..outside of Victoria )..Attention to detail appears to be a very high priority at this B & B...
It was a glorious day..we sat our on our deck & enjoyed the amazing view & soaked in the sun..Later walked down the steps to the dock...and spied many sea creatures..stunning day..

We dinned in the restaurant..Chucky's...highly recommend eating there..Only disappointment was..no Caribou A/V. So had moose burger..yummy..My husband so enjoyed the Fish n' Chips...no room for dessert..
Breakfast next morning..served & cooked by Chuck...very nice....
Lovely experience....the building from the parking lot...does not do the inside justice..quite unassuming from the outside..but walk in & you know...you are in a place..you want to stay...a long time...

Room Tip: Very quiet....after Restaurant closed...I guess there was a small gathering there..But not a problem...

Excellent service; hefty tasty meal; and great decor. I was invited along for a friend's birthday lunch. The server was very accommodating when we wanted to move away from the lobster tank. The view was spectacular. We noticed that many people came by boat. We walked down over all of the steps and took photos.

A lovely eating experience!

Spent one night here in July in the Turners Crescent Suite. It's a very large room with a king size bed, large tv, beautiful furniture, large bathroom and all the amenities you would need! The view from the room was amazing! Room was spotless; immaculately clean. While there we booked a guided kayak tour which was an incredible experience. The tour guide, Chris, took us to caves and under waterfalls. The wildlife was amazing too which included bald eagles, starfish, jellyfish, cod fish, sand pipers and the list goes on. The restaurant on site, Chucky's, has some of the best Newfoundland food in the province! Definitely try the fish and chips and Kristen's homemade Chocolate cake! The owners (Chuck, Brenda, Sharlett and James) are doing a wonderful job with this Inn and I definitely recommend visiting!

Wonderful rooms, great hosts and excellent restaurant. Totally enjoyed our 2 nights and bought the dinner package for both. Had wonderful seafood the first night and crab cakes with moose burger and salad the second. All of it was great including the breakfast. A great wine selection and appreciated the attentive service. The hosts, Chuck, Charlotte, James and Brenda together with Alicia made us feel so welcome and were very helpful in advising us on places to visit yet at the same time they were very professional. Especially appreciate that they remembered the little things like marmalade and extra hot water for my coffee. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Room Tip: Book the dinner package.

This is a wonderful place to stay while enjoying Newfoundland. The rooms, with balconies, have beautiful views of the water. They are very large with lovely facilities. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner in the lovely dining room as well as a delicious breakfast the following morning. This would be a repeat most definitely. Loved the owners who were most cheerful and helpful with information about the surrounding area.
