If you need to stay in or near Deer Lake, Newfoundland, this is the place to stay! It is like new, large, nicely laid-out, and very nicely decorated. Patsy, the owner, is a superb, friendly host and makes a great breakfast with lots of options! It is located on a back road away from any noise. Our room was superb with a nice comfy bed and our own bathroom.

Be aware that a GPS may have you turn too early off the gravel road - just keep going until the gravel road turns to the right on its own and then this B&B is on the right just afterwards.

This is one of the nicest B&B's we have ever stayed at, We could only stay one night but wished we could have stayed at least another!

Room Tip: The bedroom downstairs is all by itself - very private!

This B&B is tucked away on a quiet side road that is close to the Trans Canada Highway and to restaurants and other services. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Hosts are friendly and very accommodating. Excellent food. Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Book early as the rooms are heavily booked.

We unfortunately didn't get to experience the B&B fully as we arrived late in the evening and were moving on the next day. Quite pleased we had a satnav so we found it quite easily. The B&B is beautiful - decorated really lovely and a fab view. The room was lovely and the bed really comfy. This is the first time i've seen make up face wipes in a hotel/B&B which was great as i'd left mine in the previous hotel. Patsy made a great breakfast. I really enjoyed the traditional Newfoundland breakfast while my husband opted for the full English. Patsy was also really helpful in helping us plan our trip, giving us maps and advice on what to do. We also had a bit of fun with the cat who was keen to see the parts of the house it wasn't normally allowed in when we left the door open a bit too long.

We decided to stay in Deer Lake as we were flying out the next day and did not want to do the drive from Gros Morne. We needed two rooms as our friend needed to leave for the airport by 4:30 a.m. Not a problem. A taxi was arranged for the short 10 minute drive. The B and B is a large, modern, beautifully built home about 3 Km from Deer Lake. Nestled in the countryside, it is peaceful and a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were large and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great. There were a number of restaurants within a short drive. There are very friendly cats and dogs. We highly recommend this B and B and suggest you stay there on your tour of Newfoundland.
