Tickle Inn is a historic house, perhaps the Northern most house in Newfoundland. If it is not, it misses by only seconds of Latitude.
The view is outstanding including across the bay, the Viking settlement at L'anse aux Meadows, and in the distance the occasional whale or ocean going vessel.
But better than the view is the hospitality. After a wonderful dinner, guests assemble in the parlor for an evening of story telling, song, and Newfoundland history culminating in singing "Ode to Newfoundland". You leave wanting to know more of Newfoundland and its people.
Be aware that this is a historic dwelling built by 3 generations of the Adams family. Rooms can be small, and 2 1/2 baths are shared. This has NEVER proved a problem.
