This venue, tucked away down a winding road, is the highlight of the Bonavista area. The view is unmatched, the food is excellent and the service was friendly and the staff attentive. The menu boasts food grown on site in the raised gardens and greenhouse as well as local seafood. Goats and sheep provide lively entertainment while you dine on the veranda. The rhubarb lemonade is a must-have. It might be a little extra effort to visit this hideaway, but you'll be happy you did.

Stopped here on our way to Bonavista. Gorgeous weather so we sat outside and enjoyed the view of happy goats and tranquil inlet. We both had the pasta with asparagus and lobster which was fantastic - pasta al dente and loads of lobster! My favourite though was the rhubarb lemonade .... Delicious. We will be back!

We heard about this on Tripadvisor, and when we mentioned to locals that we were considering trying it they all said it is wonderful. It is. We had parsnip soup, moose burgers and wood fired pizza, and a dessert of bread pudding (which my son says was divinely inspired), hazelnut torte and parsnip cake. It was all the best food since we arrived in NL a week ago.

Four of us went for lunch on a sunny Sunday in May. We sat outside and enjoyed the view as well as the food. The soups were good and the pizza was outstanding. They serve a limited menu with a great deal of charm and most of the food is home grown and/or home made. The salt was Newfoundland Sea Salt, a first for us. Their bread is outstanding ! My husband makes bread and critiques it at every restaurant and this bread passed with flying colours.
