“Nice Bistro for dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

We had a most enjoyable dinner here as we were in transit to Nova Scotia. The food was outstanding ( 0rdered from their evening seafood specials), they had a good selection of wines, and a very friendly atmosphere. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys an upscale meal with excellent service.

“Worth crossing borders for”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We stumbled upon this place while stopping for a late lunch on our cartrip across the U.S. - Canada border. The restaurant is housed in the back of a chocolate factory. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and exceedingly patient with our two carloads of family members - including teenagers - with diverse tastes. The food was fresh, wholesome, well presented and very tastey. Several of us had the shrimp wrap lunch special which was delicious. The coffee was of high standard, even more surprising given the disappointing fare we had sampled in the immediate surroundings. The experience was of very high value for the weary travelers. On our way back across the border, we decided to eat on the Maine side of the border. Big mistake. Same prices bought us greasy, inedible diner sandwiches.

“Always a pleasure!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

As far as we know, the ONLY place to obtain a proper cappuccino or expresso in this area. We stop in on every trip home. The menu seems greatly expanded since our last visit, and there should be something for everyone. Note that it is not a "diner"; there are no fries. Service is friendly/excellent. Good wine choices. Check them out on Facebook.

“Quaint & Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Another great gem we found on our road trip thanks to the recommendation at the tourist stop. Service was a bit slow but the food more than made up for it. The sandwiches were amazing with a ton of flavour. The salads were fresh and the dressing scrumptious. The décor was modern and so much to look at. If we ever make it back to this area we'll certainly stop in for another wonderful unforgettable meal!!!
