This was our first trip through the Fundy Trail. Unfortunately it was raining and chilly. However, stopping at the Caves brightened our day! The chowder was absolutely delicious! Rich and creamy. Full of chunks of seafood and not potatoes. Served with a warm home made biscuit. Absoltely delicious! Restaurant is clean and the service is friendly and warm. We sat inside due to the rain, and the room was very inviting. Bright with windows everywhere overlooking the beach. Very nice! Would stop here again if in the area!

As my wife and I were touring through the area we noticed this restaurant. It is quite a charming place - simple, yet very homey and hospitable.

The staff were very friendly and incredibly welcoming. Our lunch selections gave us a great sample of local seafood recipes. Both of our lunches were delicious. The food (seafood and vegetables) were obviously fresh, which is a bonus for a place that is quite a bit off the beaten path. We were not disappointed.

A major feature of this place is the view from the dining room. There is a spectacular view of the ocean meeting some large cliffs featuring a number of large caves.

If you're looking for a posh place, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a homestyle, friendly place oozing with Maritime charm and hospitality, this is a great option. I'd certainly consider a return visit next time we are in the area.

First time to the fundy trail and st.martins loved all of it and we stopped here for chowder since we heard about it and how good it is.
Well it was the best seafood chowder I've had in a long time. Not all potatoes and filler just creamy seafood goodness. It was worth the price chunks of lobster.
The fish looked excellent too from my vantage point but I didn't have it myself.
The view is really wonderful it's right on the beach with the beautiful caves and when the tide goes out you can go exploring.
