“Innisfree Bed and Breakfast”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

We recently vacationed in New Brunswick Canada and stayed at a beautiful Bed and Breakfast called Innisfree Bed and Breakfast in Hopewell Cape. Our hosts Elaine and Alan were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The rooms were nice, very clean, but the best part for us were those breakfasts. Fresh fruit cup followed by Blueberry Muffins, Scones, Blueberry Jam and Granola Cereal (all homemade by Elaine) and that was just for starters. It was then followed with homemade waffles, eggs, etc. Served very elegantly.
Both Elaine and Alan were very helpful regarding what to do in the area. Of course, the Hopewell Rocks are right up the road from them, but Alan advised how to best maximize our time there and provided us with a map. They also told us of restaurants in the area and Cape Enrage (which we did visit and had dinner at the Cape House).
Should we visit that area of Canada again we would certainly stay at Innisfree. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars (5 being the highest) we give Innisfree 5 stars.

I can only echo what others have said. The hosts are great, the food is wonderful, and the rooms are very comfortable. We chose this inn because of it's close proximity to Hopewell Rocks and we were not disappointed.

We arrived late in the afternoon of a very low tide. Alan told us how to get into the park after the 5 pm closing so that we able to walk down to the ocean floor and out around the flowerpot rocks.
Hopewell Rocks had been on my "bucket list" for quite some time, it was definitely worth the trip. The hosts at Innisfree just helped make the trip better with really helpful suggestions of restaurants other places to visit.

This is a great place to stay when you are planning on visiting the Hopewell Rocks. Alan and Elaine are very welcoming, and Alan was especially helpful in clueing us in on how to make the most of our time at the rocks. Having a refrigerator available just for guests was a welcome addition! The grounds were beautiful. And, we had the most wonderful breakfast of our entire 3 week vacation.

This is a great place to stay when you explore the Hopewell Rocks or the Fundy Trail drive. It is only a few minutes away from the rocks and right along the Fundy Trail. The accommodations are top notch, clean and comfortable. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with information on the area. We also enjoyed walking the trail on their property. The breakfasts are delicious and feature some of Elaine's jams, home made granola etc. we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 2 nights to get a good view of Hopewell Rocks in various tides. This B&B is about 5 minutes from the Cape which makes it ideal. The B&B itself is very pleasant with a nice yard & comfortable rooms. Elaine and Alan are great hosts; friendly, knowledgeable and clearly very enthusiastic about the area the live in. The area was one of the big highlights of our maritime trip, and you can't go wrong with this B&B. Highly recommended.

Innisfree is all you can ask for and more in a B&B, and a highlight of our trip through the Maritimes. Alan and Elaine are the most friendly and welcoming B&B owners we have met and have put together a gorgeous and peaceful home. Our room (the Cat's Meow) was impeccable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was outside of the room but almost directly adjacent and in such a private part of the house that it did not bother us in the least. The beautiful gardens felt like a wonderland, with hummingbirds everywhere and a neat path in the back. Breakfast (served from 7:30 - 8:30) was one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip, including delicious home-made maple granola, fresh blueberry muffins, vegetable quiche, and more.. Lots of privacy balanced by a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We could hear some noises from other parts of the house but not loud enough to be annoying really. We stayed here for one night after camping in Fundy National Park (also highly recommended) but it is also in a great location to explore Hopewell Cape, Cape Enrage, and Fundy National Park if you would prefer not to camp. Simply can't say enough about this place, and would go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely the best place to stay on Hopewell Cape. Alan and Elaine are the most amazing hosts. Gracious and welcoming upon arrival. Their B and B is immaculate and well kept with great attention to detail and comfort. Breakfast was varied everyday and quite wonderful!
