We chose Innisfree B &B because of its proximity to Hopewell Rocks (<5 mins. drive) and other nearby attractions like the Cape Enrage lighthouse, covered bridges and Fundy National Park. In addition, the hospitality of Alan and Elaine was exceptional! Both were very accommodating to the needs of our kids during breakfast time. They made yummy pancakes and scones for them. The rooms were cozy, clean and quiet. Don't miss to read the blue binder in each room (informative about the room and the Rocks). Also, walk in their grounds, you'll see rabbits and hummingbirds.
The place is near Alma and Hillsborough where you can find restaurants and stores. FYI: NB foods are fried. Try the lobster roll at Red Roof, seafood chowder at Harborview and High tide Cafe.

Room Tip: We stayed in Prospector room with great view of the garden and peaceful night sleep.

We selected Innisfree because of its proximity to Hopewell Rocks. The innkeepers are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and their tips helped us maximize our experience at that part of the Bay of Fundy, especially regarding the tides. We did not plan our trip around the tide tables, but in order to get a full experience, you need to be able to see tides at each extreme. The inn breakfast is legendary so plan plenty of physical activity the day of your stays! We were very comfortable here and found the Inn quite charming and upbeat, not tired as sometimes experienced in other properties.

We stayed at this location for one night due to its convenient location near Hopewell Rocks, Fundy National Park and only a 30 min drive into Moncton, NB for shopping and restaurants. The property was well taken care of with a nice garden in the back. The room we stayed in was the Prospector, at 140 a night, however there are lower priced rooms available. The room was clean and comfortable bed, with a small flat screen TV and en suite bathroom.

Alan and Elaine were a very friendly and welcoming couple. Breakfast was excellent, and we sat with an older couple from Ontario while eating. There is a good selection of local seafood restaurants a short drive away for lunch and dinner, and if you prefer The Keg, or other big restaurants Moncton is not too far if you plan on spending the evening in the city as we did.

There's also a small liquor store about halfway between Moncton and the B&B if you plan on having a glass of wine or a drink while enjoying a relaxing night here!

If you are an outdoor type of person, the Fundy National Park is close by and offers numerous biking, and hiking trails, with scenic views, waterfalls, a covered bridge, and much more. The Hopewell Rocks are easily a half day or even a full day to themselves if you wish to see them at high and low tide, and sea kayaking is also available in the area.

If you are planning to spend a night, or even a week in this area, I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

We stayed here so that we were close to the Hopewell Rocks for the following day. Alan gave us such good directions and information about the right time to visit and where to stand for the best photos. He also gave us really good instructions on what else to do tailored for us personally for our interests. This was the best stay for me during the whole holiday. The room was beautiful and with our own bathroom just across the landing it was perfect. The breakfasts were incredible with the homemade granola and apple muffins, it's making me feel hungry as I write this review. A lovely couple with a lovely home and garden

Perfectly located for visiting the famous Hopewell Rocks this family run B&B would enhance any holiday. The house and gardens are beautiful and I could easily have spent time relaxing here. It's also not far from the absolutely stunning Fundy NP and in hindsight I would have opted for a longer initial drive and 2 or 3 nights here. Alan and Elaine are very welcoming hosts and the homemade breakfast a destination in itself. Being extremely close to Hopewell Rocks allows multiple visits with the 24 hour entry ticket to view this amazing area at different tide levels. If you find a pair of white Haviannas at the front door, I am unlikely to return for them so feel free to use them.

Room Tip: Take your pick.

Visiting the Hopewell Rocks is a once in a lifetime experience. It was fantastic.. It was made all the more enjoyable by the insights provided by the hosts of this B&B. It is only about a mile from the Rocks. We stayed two nights and found everything about this B&B to be first class. The hosts were extremely friendly and approachable, not invisible as in some B&B's. The entire property was well maintained, both inside and outside. The breakfasts were outstandig with many of the ingredients from Elaine's garden and orchard. There was great breakfast conversation due to the diverse nature of our fellow guests. My wife and I have stayed at numerous B&B's. This is definitely one of the best. For anyone intending on visiting the Rocks, this is the only place to stay.
