Do not hesitate, if you are around the caraquet area, this is the place to go! There are restaurants in the village itself and kids will love to see how it worked in the oldies!

It had been at least 20 years since the last time we went visit this beautiful historic village. It's an all day event. We were there for the last day of the season. They had a live auction for all the animal turkeys, pork, chicken etc.. At the general store they had all kind of preserved for sale, baked good m bread etc... It takes at least four hour to view this site, stollers are available. We were treated for some a corn boil, bbq, hamburger and hot dogs for the last day of the season.

Interesting from start to finish. You are imersed in the culture for several hours. You learn something every time you go. Very real when you are there. Will definately go again.

We did visit when there was no one in costume as it was at the end of the season.
I find that once you go to one Village you get repeat of the same old same old.
