We booked 2 cabins. We had reserved for sat evening. We had to cancel because the show we were attending was cancelled. I tried to cancel on thrusday am. They refused said the reservation had to be cancelled 2 days before And in my eyes thrusday am was 2 days before. They were not helpful at all they charged me for the 2 cabins. If ever I go to caraquet this will not be a place I will ever consider. So if ever you book here hope nothing comes up to change your plans

My family of four was in Caraquet to visit friends in nearby Shippagan, NB. We stayed in the #3 cabin and were completely satisfied with the experience. Before I say more, I must explain that the property has 4 distinct rentals: the B&B (maison), a camper area, the cabins, and tent sites. Read reviews of this property with this in mind. Our experience was outstanding. Monsieur Beaucage, at the front desk and who we ran into at least four times, was extremely friendly, helpful, witty, and engaging. Our cabin was cozy (a great realty word for tiny) and clean, with everything we needed in the little kitchen and bath. Make no mistake, a $99 cabin for four is no luxury apartment, but the place was brilliantly adequate and we didn't want to leave. Our friends came to visit and we cooked on the stove and the firepit.

What is not perfect about the property is that it is about 5km from Caraquet proper and the lovely walk to the beach through the camping sites ends in a decidedly plain beach. There was good bird watching potential at the beach, however.

In the end, I have no fault with this place. For the price, the value was extraordinary and the experience great. I cannot comment much on the B&B, camping or trailers, but they looked nice too.

Room Tip: Cabin 3 is the only one with a bunk for kids.

Very nice house, has rooms, suites and even camping. Great breakfast served every morning. Beds a little too soft and no a/c but otherwise good value for the money. Owner is very knowledgeable about the area and knows great details about his house's history and architecture. Very clean...

We choose this accomodation on the recommendation of our guide book from 2011; as we arrived we discovered that the prices were doubled within one year! The lady on the reception desk refused at the beginning to talk english with us, it was only after we asked her a few times that she changed into english; then i'm quite sure she lied to us because she told us that there is no room available just the cabins (which are very expensive) but as we came back from dinner around 9 o'clock there wasn't any car standig outside and we also dint't saw any light shining! The cabins were okay but overpriced and drafty. In the morning we wanted to check out but there was no one there at the reception (at 9 am!). We waited for half an hour and knocked on every window but no one came so we just left the key on a desk beside the door and drove away.

We had 3 rooms (they were called 2 suites and a cabin). In all the beds were lumpy and pullouts uncomfortable. We expected breakfast at a B&B, but no, instead we were told we could have anything we wanted if we cooked it in our rooms. We were also told to go to the docks and get fresh lobster from the boat and cook in our suite. The three little sauce pans in the room could have each held a claw. Ask for ice and they give you a container that is a pickle jar size. There is no air conditioning and mosquitoes and flies were terrible, so don't leave your door open. There were fire pits around the property which were well used in the evenings. Not worth the almost $160 we shelled out per room.

Room Tip: Drive on by. These rooms offered no cross ventilation, every foot step is heard from above and water...
