We spent one night at the B&B. It was very clean, the room was average and the TV was located in a common room, no refrigerator although I'm sure it would not have been a problem to keep anything in the kitchen one if you asked the owner. The owner Manon is lovely and very accommodating, breakfast was excellent. There grounds are lovely and the chicken's supply eggs for breakfast - can't get any fresher then that! Our room was at the front, a little highway noise but nothing outrageous and I'm a light sleeper but traffic stopped by about 10-11pm.

Room Tip: if you're a very light sleeper, ask for a room in the back.

For the second year in a row we have spent August 13th-16th at this wonderful B&B. The grounds are charming, the house is quaint and beautifully decorated , and Manon will do anything she can to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. The breakfasts have a definite family feel to them. The morning conversations are lively and if there is a language barrier, Manon will translate so everyone feels included. The breakfast meal is simply phenominal. Numerous fresh fruits, home grown eggs, French toast made with bread from the Acadien Village, and 8 different home made preserves. For comfort, relaxation and an enjoyable time you can't go wrong with this historic home. We have already booked our room for August 2014.

Room Tip: The B&B is on the Bay of Chaleur. The nights are cool and air conditioning is not needed.

The hostess was extremely helpful with local intelligence and advice for things to see and do. Ask her about her favorite private beach location. The breakfast was local sourced fruit, eggs (from her own chickens!), prepared expertly with beautiful presentation. The rooms, though small-( it IS an 1898 home), were very comfortable, clean and welcoming after all day adventuring. I recommend this wonderful B & B to anyone visiting this area.

Room Tip: Ask for the downstairs room if you have trouble climbing narrow stairs.

It was great to have the host allow us to come in early..ready for our wet ride with a side stand plate for the bike. The day was rainy and miserable, but our host Manon drove us to an amazing historical village and pick us back up after our visit at the attraction...what a day! In the morning we were treated to an assortment of homemade jams!

This was our first time visiting Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada where my husband's great-grandfather and grandfather were born. The B&B was cozy, comfortable, and just like home. Manon and Daniel were welcoming, accommodating, informative, and Manon translated the conversation at the breakfast table each of the four mornings since we don't speak French. The breakfasts were incredible. Each morning we were pleasantly surprised. The grounds were beautiful too. They both work hard to make everyone feel at home. We are planning on staying there again next summer.
