Wow these guys work hard! They're always on the ocean taking people out on the Bay of Fundy and helping them discover the marine perspective of Fundy National Park.

They brought us to some great sights, prepared an incredible snack (sticky buns YUM!), and shared some interesting stories.

I was slightly disappointed that we had to be in tandem kayaks for our trip, which apparently doesn't happen all the time, but because of the rough seas it made sense. The guides did a good job of accommodating different skill levels but I wish I had asked ahead of time if there were different options for people who were more fit than other participants.

Overall our guides Dustin and Mike were incredible guides and definitely made us feel welcome and safe.

This was an exceptional tour, well worth every penny! I would highly recommend the full day tour ($110) as you get to see the complete tide cycle. The guides are excellent, the scenery spectacular, and there is plenty of food (see photos), including the famous sticky buns from Kelly's bake shop. At one point, we were close enough to the porpoises that we could hear the swoosh of air from their breathing holes. When we got back to Alma, I immediately went to Collin's Lobster Fisherman's Market and bought paper bags of sun-dried dulse. Kayaking the Bay of Fundy was definitely the highlight of my trip to New Brunswick.

My husband and I were camping at the Fundy National Park and did the half-day kayak tour one afternoon with FreshAir Adventure. We had a great time! The location was very easy to find, right near the entrance to the park. All of the guides were extremely friendly and helpful. We've done several other kayak tours before and this definitely stands out as the best. They took care of everything carrying the kayaks directly into the water for you and they brought lots of food for our break during the tour. The sticky buns are the best! Definitely a great value for the cost!

The group is very organized and safe. The equipment is in excellent condition. You get a mini land course which is very good.

I would recommend this to anyone considering kayaking in the area.

Excellent adventure

Alma is at the east edge of Fundy Provincial Park.
Fresh Air is a compact operation by the river estuary on the west edge of Alma. On a weekday morning, my wife and I had only another couple from Quebec and the young guide. We launched for the three-hour tour ($65 Can per person)at 9 a.m. high tide. The day was calm and cloudy, so conversation with the fellow guests and guide was easy. The cliffs onshore are surprisingly varied, and one has views to southwestern Nova Scotia across the Bay. We went about three miles west, we in solo sea kayaks and the other couple in a tandem. Other groups with less experience may of necessity have shorter tours. On return, our guide took us to a beach, fed us luscious cinnamon buns and fruit and drinks, and gave a talk on why Fundy has such high tides. We took out at a beach inside the park, and were shuttled back to Alma, because the tide was by then low enough to make an Alma takeout difficult.
Marvellous experience commend to seniors to families with 6-yr old children (in tandems) with a modicum of paddling experience.
