We ate here both at lunchtime and in the evening and both were excellent. There is a lovely large sunny deck so you can eat outdoors on a fine day. It is only open until 9 pm in the evenings, so be sure to eat early, and essential to reserve a table beforehand. Great choice of seafood.

I wasn't expecting all that much from a resort restaurant that's essentially the only game in town. The Saltery Pub next door serves the same menu and the only other option is a kiosk with only outdoor seating. I was surprised to find very pleasant surroundings, although there is an unmistakable aroma of the sea coming up through the floor boards at low tide since the restaurant is built on stilts over the water. I chose to eat inside rather than on the deck with its beautiful view of the cove and boats in the marina because it was a cold, rainy night in July. None the less, I ordered a salad (one too many fish and chips in the preceding days in Port Hardy). The server suggested the Mediterranean salad and she was right on. Think Caesar salad with Greek piled on, topped by a very generous grilled chicken breast plus garlic toast. It was delicious. Lots of veggies, feta, olives ... and the portion was huge. I paired it with a glass of house white and went away happy. While you're there, take a look down the hallway where the washrooms are located (and which connects with the pub); some neat historic photos.

Perhaps the only choice of food in Telegraph Cove - fear not, it's good. Solid menu and friendly staff will make your experience a positive one

After a busy day on the water fishing, we decided to reward ourselves with a dinner out. This restaurant is beautiful inside. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. The clam chowder is definitely to try. We had : mussels, clam chowder, cheeseburger , veggie hamburger, se agios carbonara and a Greek specialty. All was delicious and none of us could have a dessert. Highly recommended.

They were having a salmon BBQ on the boardwalk - choice of ribs or salmon. It was delicious! It was a great end of day after our whale watching trip with Stubbs.
