Telegraph Cove is a destination spot for whale watching tours, kayaking and similar and we had low expectations of the restaurant as there isn't much choice here. However it's all good. Service with a smile, and the menu has several Greek-themed dishes. Turns out the cook (our server's dad) is Greek, so we tried the calamari with home-made tsatziki, and spinach pie as starters - both excellent. Salmon BBQ was great (smoked outdoors, available Wednesday and Saturday I think), although just the one dressing available. Ribs were tasty, and the prawn dishes were again fresh and well-presented.

Would definitely recommend after a boat trip.

Food was not so good, quite expensive for what you get. Make the trip to Port McNeill, go to Northern Lights restaurant located in the Haida way hotel, delicious food and great service!

It's not like you have a lot of choice of where to eat in Telegraph so we ate here twice. Both times the food was just ok but on our second visit (same 4 people) we were so impressed by the server. She remembered allergies, preferences and made appropriate suggestions. Not inexpensive; they know they have you by the short curlies. Nice views if you are fortunate enough to be in one of the tables on the oceanside.

We had a snack lunch here and with a beer and one dish each, came to over 50 dollars, just a burger, some salad and a little pot of soup. You only have here or the seahorse to choose from and I guess their overheads and their need to make an operating profit for the year means the prices are high. Affable and reasonably efficient service. If you want to sit outside, though, the terrace is shady in the evenings.
