The list of sightings on this trip is almost endless, with humpback, mink whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals, seal lions, ...
After 3 hours the one thing still missing were orca’s ... and the crew went out of it’s way to find them, adding more than 2 hours to the trip with in the end a pod of 5 orca’s !
Before we got back we also witnessed a bait ball festival with over 20 bald eagles joining.

Went out on the whale watching tour this week with rebecca and chris and had a fantastic time. They were all so knowledgable, really keen to teach us about the conservation programmes and had years of experience. You could literally ask them anything! We were in a quite a small group which was lovely. Telegraph cove is a beautiful part of the world! Tea and coffee on board was a lovely touch. Thanks guys!

The morning spent with Roman, Sharon & Andy was perfect. We saw 2 humpbacks, a rock full of sea lions, seals & an amazing find of over 50 bald eagles all together in the trees & rocks on a tiny island. Even our guides said they had never seen so many in one place this season. They all three did an amazing job. Sharon was our guide on the top deck. She was extremely knowledgeable and her enthusiasm was contagious. It was easy to see that she loved what she was doing. Thank you.

I can’t even believe how amazing our experience was today. About 10 minutes in and we saw a humpback whale with a calf. We saw a total of 7 humpbacks which Scotty was able to identify and give us great information about. Scotty obviously has a great passion for his job and answered every question with great detail and enthusiasm. On the way back to telegraph cove he also took us to see a group of Stella sea lions and we were also lucky enough to see some dalls porpoise too! Thanks so much Prince of Whales, definitely a tour I won’t forget!
