Have stayed here previously and received good service, but just returned from 6 nights over winter break and was a little shocked by the poor service and low morale (most staff seemed to avoid eye contact). The carpets had clearly not been properly vacuumed when we arrived. And as a previous review stated, housekeeping was non-existent. They only showed up twice and did not wipe any surfaces, clean or vacuum. The halls were constantly littered with several full black garbage bags and laundry bags all up and down the halls late into the evenings. There were no notices, apologies or compensation for the lack of housekeeping. We had to call front desk on day 3 for towels and they didn't ask how our stay was when we left. Paid over $200 a night for a 3 star facility and received less than 1 star service. We could have stayed at a larger condo for the same price and no housekeeping. Would only stay here again if the price reflected a "self-serve" motel rate.
On the positive side, the location is very convenient (close to everything) and the kitchenette was well equiped and good for our family vacation. Front desk staff were generally pleasant when approached (but not really friendly nor helpful) and always seemed well staff, perhaps some of them should have helped out with the housekeeping (as I've seen in other hotels when housekeeping is short-handed).More
