We stopped in for lunch the day we arrived in Sun Peaks, and were seated right away. We then waited 10 minutes for our waiter to attend to us, and it took another 5 minutes for our drinks to appear. It wasn't busy and there appeared to be a number of staff on hand, so I'm not sure what the hold up was. Our food arrived shortly after our order was taken, and we enjoyed our meal, which was fresh and well cooked.
However, the dining room was quite dirty, from the mucky ketchup bottle and sticky table top, to the grossly dirty screen from which the servers entered the orders. This is early in the season, and one would expect that maintenance and cleanliness should be at its peak, but it will be a long time before we go back there, as we found it disgusting.

Nice patio, food......well it is okay. Don't expect a blended drink, there is no blender........Good for an appetizer or a lunch but be prepared to wait because service seems a bit slow. Sit outside and enjoy the deck and view. That is what this mountain has to offer.

Scrooge is alive and owns Masa's bar and grill in Sun Peaks.

The food was good. BUT. When the bill came we had been charged for the mustard and mayo! 75 cents each for a small container. Not a lot in the great scheme of things but a charge was not mentioned on the menu. What next? 10 cents a shake for the salt and pepper?

So an overaal poor rating from me for being so tight fisted.

Located right at the base of the lift and part of one of the day lodges. The hamburger is a frozen patty cooked to the consistency of cardboard then put on an almost bare bun. Their house beer is like American beer-plain water with bubbles.

This is the first time I've ever been berated by a server because she did not like the size of her tip. I was with a group of people I had only just met so it was not my fault the others at the table stiffed her. But clearly she deserved it.
