“Fun--ice creeam and animals”
Reviewed August 3, 2011

I've never seen a camel up close--until I stopped there.
Lots of animals to look at and that was cool.

The ice cream was true to the cream part and was tasty.

As mentioned, there is a fruit stand across the street and it had some great stuff as well.

It won't take long to see it all, but as a quick stop on the way somewhere--it's good.

“Where does ice cream come from?”
Reviewed July 7, 2011

The D Dutchmen Dairy is a yearly stop for us when travelling through the interior of BC. There's simply no better ice cream to be had on a hot summer day!

There's usually a bit of a lineup, and the ice cream shop is cash-only with no samples, however there are lots of choices, and it's some of the smoothest, creamiest you'll taste. You can head outside and visit with some of the farm animals, as well as going into the barn and seeing the baby cows as well

For those looking to an alternative to ice-cream, there are usually BC fresh fruits available from a vendor on the other side of the street.
