“WOW!! The best bed and breakfast we have ever been to!!”
Reviewed April 22, 2011

We just spent two days at Sechelt Inlet B&B. This was the highlight of our trip to BC without a doubt!!!! The view of the ocean from our room was amazing. Our hosts were excellent. The breakfasts were delicious. My wife has a wheat allergy (celiac) and without our hosts being given any advance warning they prepared the best fruit muffins, cookies, and bread (all gluten free) that we have ever tasted. The conversation was fabulous. They both have a great sense of humour. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and very clean -- our room had its own bathroom and bath (and I understand that all rooms have their own bathroom) which was very handy since we were travelling with our 16 month old. There is a great beach within walking distance and many beaches within a very short drive. We highly recommend this fantastic bed and breakfast and we will certainly be back.

Even though the location was a little out of the way, it was well worth it. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we could have needed. The breakfasts were delicious, but the view from our deck was just spectacular. On both the nights we spent there, we enjoyed the deck and watched the view change as the sun set.

We stayed for 3 nightsin late June. The room was airy and spacious with a deck area with the most wonderful views over the Inlet. Nothing was too much trouble for Dick and Jean. Every day we were served amazing, home baked breakfasts, with a specially prepared gluten free option for my husband.Lots of little extras which make a stay more comfortable were included. Home made cookies, cofee, tea and water available all day. Also wine glasses provided, even non- breakable ones to take in the hot tub!
Thank you for making our stay on the Sunshine Coast so enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed with Jean and Dick over four nights for a short break while our children hit the shopping malls of Washington State. We had such a great time at the B&B, the room we had was so clean and tidy with a fantastic view looking out along the Sechelt Inlet. There is a really nice sheltered deck outside all the rooms where you can sit and watch the eagles fly past or you can do the same from the hot tub. Breakfasts on every morning were a real treat, all freshly cooked and presented with such style and with nothing repeated over the four days. Tea, coffee, water and homemade cookies were available all day. Such a memorable place to stay and it so close to downtown Vancouver via the Horseshoe Bay ferry that I am sure we shall be returning on our next trip Canada.

My spouse and I really wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast along the sunshine coast, so we started our search online. Via Tripadvisor we came across this one and saw the great reviews. We then looked at the website and location and booked the Dogwood room. It was completely worth it!!! Dick and Jean were superb hosts and very accomodating. The room was spacious, clean and perfectly located next to the shared outdoor hot tub. No matter where you are in your room or on your private patio, the view is fantastic! I will also add that it was one of the best sleeps I've had in a long time.
There was a common area with cookies, tea, coffee and water available 24/7. Breakfast was also amazing as Dick and Jean served up fresh fruit bowls, out of the oven sticky buns and breakfast crepes. I cannot say a single bad thing about this place!

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for two nights over our anniversary weekend. It was our last getaway alone together before the birth of our second child. Being 8 months pregnant, I was looking for a clean, very comfortable, relaxing place to stay. This definitely fit the bill! Jean and Dick are kind, considerate hosts - they even substituted the champagne that came with our package with a half bottle of champagne and a bottle of sparkling pear juice, for me. Breakfasts were delicious, and the view was fantastic. The room was beautifully set up and clean, and there was a very convenient kitchen nook that guests could share, which came with coffee and tea, bottled water, pop, and a variety of dishes to use. I will be recommending this B&B to friends and family.

Jean & Dick made this home away from home experience as good as it gets. One thing I know for a fact is that they love what are doing, and as a result, the guest reaps the benefit of it.
Lovely gourmet breakfast, clean, attention to details, homemade cookie in a jar. . . The list goes on. O.. How can I forget about the jacuzzi facing the water.

Thanks again folks, we had an unforgettable time.
