I have stayed in multiple accommodations with my wife and kids at Panorama, and these were by far the best. Before you book straight from the hill, consider the EGL. Rooms were well appointed, and decor in the entire lodge was immaculate and a nice blend between mountain cozy and cosmopolitan. The liquor selection (and is there really any more important aspect?) was top notch, and so was the food. I'll need to go back there again (you can go just for dinner) and try more menu items. The family that runs it really seem to care about making you feel at home which is wonderful.

The gorgeous lodge is located just steps away from the main chairlift: mile one. The lodge holds great character, stunning design, amazing views of the mountain, and restful sleep, made all the more remarkable by the outstanding owners, Phil and Clare. Unfortunately, we were unable to try any of the delectable menu items listed as we arrived on the Sunday and left early on the Monday. We would have loved the opportunity to try the Duck Wings Confit style Canadian duck, maple whiskey BBQ glaze or the Braised Elk demi glace, bacon, Brussels sprouts, golden beets, confit potato or any of the other menu items listed!! We highly recommend the lodge as a must for accommodation and dining when staying at Panorama.

Worth every minute of the 14 hour "commute" from Exeter, NH and I WILL do it again!
Nestled in the Purcell Mountain range of the Canadian Rockies at the base of Panorama Ski Resort this one-of-a-kind chalet style B&B was a tremendous base of operations. Phil and Clare were gracious and attentive and the chef prepared fantastic gourmet meal after fantastic gourmet meal while we were there for 4 nights. Alpine Snowmobiling (Toby Creek), skiing at the resort and HeliSkiing (RK Heliski) were all minutes away. We had full use of the resort hot pools and the rooms were cozy and comfortable.
If you cannot find a room here due to high demand, be sure to make Grey's Restaurant a frequent stop during your stay nearby. The locals call believe it is "the best within 150 kilometers".

Room Tip: book your room early as they frequently sell out during the height of ski season

Thanks to our gracious hosts Phil and Clare who made us feel so welcome and took care of our every need. I don't believe that you have seen the last of us! Terrific 3 days of snowmobiling (w/ Toby Creek), skiing @ Panorama resort (with our guide and instructor Stuart) and epic day of heli skiing (with RK Heliski and guide Mike). All fueled by the fabulous food (thanks to Robert the chef) and drinks and hospitality.

We were guests at the Earl Grey Lodge and also ate at the restaurant for dinner. The rooms are small. The other reviews did a good job of describing the rooms and amenities. You do need to know that the rooms are on the bottom floor, with the restaurant above; if you are accustomed to going to bed early, your sleep may be disrupted by the noise from the restaurant. I agree that the main attraction here is the restaurant. Though the service was slow, the food was delicious. I had Lobster & Bacon Risotto, a very rich entree, done quite well, and my husband loved his steak. But for me the star of the show was the Lodge Cake. It was amazing, and you must try it!
We enjoyed our visit to Panorama and the Earl Grey Lodge very much! Panorama is a fun and inviting resort to visit.
