Owner description: The massive mountain rises 4000 vertical ft and covers 3000 acres of terrain suitable for all abilities. Intermediates carve the famed fall-line groomed runs while advanced skiers revel in the steeps of Taynton Bowl. The summit’s 8000 ft elevation, just below tree-line, provides breathtaking views and stands tall over this convenient ski-in/ski-out village and the nearby quaint town of Invermere. After an exhilarating day on the slopes guests rejuvenate in Canada’s largest slopeside hot-pools. The resort’s relaxed character and abundance of onsite activities including heliskiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing make it a favourite for destination skiers. This is Panorama Mountain Village.

I stayed at this resort with my girlfriend and parents from February 2 - 9, 2013. The skiing was fantastic, lots of fresh powder, and the hill was not busy at all, never a line for the lift. After speaking to some of the staff at the resort, they said that this week was an expected "lull" before the college reading weeks later in the month.

There was lots of good runs at this hill. I particularly enjoyed how there were Black and double black diamond runs, within close proximity of the easy and intermediate runs. It allowed me to have some fun on the hard ones, while my girlfriend ski'd the easy runs.

"View of 1000 Peaks" and "Surf" were my favourite runs, and runs like "RollerCoaster" and "Millenium" were good warm up runs early on in the day.

Was sad when we finally had to leave at the end of the week. Have already booked our return trip for 2014, same week! Cheers.

I felt like this ski hill was being run by a bunch of 18 year old kids. No one really cared if you were there and they certainly did not inquire about whether or not you were having a good time. It would have been nice to see an adult walking around the resort making sure all the guests were enjoying themselves. For the amount of money we spent here, it would have been nice to see some helpful and smiling faces. I would have given this a 1/5, but Ryan (snowboard instructor) was great and the food at the T-Bar and grill was pretty good too!

We enjoyed skiing Panorama on the Alberta Family Day weekend. The hill has lots of terrain of good variety. The snow was poor though, so we did a fair bit of damage to our equipment. It would be an awesome location after a good snowfall.

We had six great days skiing here. Coffee at Summit Hut and then down either "stumbocks" or " view of 1000 peaks" was a great way to go. The Sunbird chair while old gives access to some not to be missed runs, Millenium, "heaven can wait" & fritz's. We were there for the week leading up to Presidents weekend and only on Saturday of that weekend were the queues noticeable. Even then the only long queue was on 1 Mile. The fireworks Saturday were fun.

Accommodations surrounded by mountains, what more could you ask for. Ski runs for all levels. Alternative activities for children. Assortment of eating establishments. Sitting outside of Lusti's sipping a drink with the sun shining on your face looking up at the ski funs, wonderful for the soul. 4+ hours from Calgary airport with a short break in Banff, long but beautiful scenery. Ski in/out in upper village is great. Outdoor hot pool, great on sunny days and great for the kids. No long line ups for lifts. Don't miss dinner at Earl Grey or good pub food at Kicking Horse. Not a shopping mecca. Panaroma is for skiing and walking along the river and enjoying the snow and the mountains.
