We just spent last weekend at Panorama Mountain Resort and stayed in Ski Tip Lodge. I don't consider myself a "clean freak" by any stretch, but, I do appreciate the comfort one feels when things look and feel crisp and clean, especially in a hotel. Unfortunately we didn't feel that way in our Unit at Ski Tip Lodge. There is no way the dust has been removed off of any surface in that place for several weeks. The baseboards in the kitchen area were caked in that greasy sticky dirt as was the floor along the edges by the wall. The handle on the refridgerator door was so black I took dishwasher detergent to it and tried to scrub it clean. The bathroom floor, well, let's not go there. The key words here would be "wear slippers". The towels in the bathroom were actually very nice and fluffy. The bedroom area was sporting some pretty good sized dust bunnies and again the amount of dust on the head board, lamp shades and end tables would suggest it has been a long time since the place has seen a dust cloth. There is a nice new duvet on the bed and it looks great. We had a good laugh when we pulled back the lovely duvet to climb between the holey sheets and I mean holey. I actually put three fingers through one of the holes and there were at least...We just spent last weekend at Panorama Mountain Resort and stayed in Ski Tip Lodge. There is a nice new duvet on the bed and it looks great. We had a good laugh when we pulled back the lovely duvet to climb between the holey sheets and I mean holey. I actually put three fingers through one of the holes and there were at least three or four other ones. We were trying to remember the last time we stayed at a hotel that had holey sheets on the bed. NEVER! I could go on but I think you get the picture. You want to know the real kicker about all of this ---- we actually own this unit and it is in the rental pool. Oh, one more thing, don't forget your ear plugs if you go. The bar crowd goes to at least 2 or 3 in the morning and they yell all night long. Over the ten years we have been going to Panorama I think we have called security regarding this matter about 25 times. We have given up calling as they have never done anything about it. Last weekend was our only trip to Panorama for 2007. No more dirty floors, dust, holey sheets, and loud drunks for us. On a good note -- the snow was GREAT!
