Lovely dinner, served with a good personal touch. They select a limited menu that changes regularly so that the offering is fresh and tasty.

Good wine list and reasonable costs....

We went for lunch on Saturday on the May long weekend. We arrived at 11:35 am because we were hungry. The new End of the Road Bistro on the main floor and deck of the Inn is a beautiful venue. The service was fine except we were informed that no food order for lunch could be submitted to the kitchen before 12:00 noon because the kitchen was still preparing for lunch. They are open for breakfast. There was just us two of us in the restaurant at the time. So we were a little miffed at the 'kitchen convenience' first attitude.

We had the Cesar salad and turkey panini. The salad seemed 'tired', not crisp and not fresh with browned ends to the lettuce. The rest of the salad components were good. The panini was very dry which made in very unpleasant....thank goodness we had great wine to wash it down with.

On a very much of an up note for this venue, we attended the Upper Bench winemakers
/cheese makers dinner during the Spring Okanagan Winefest. It was unbelievably fabulous. Food, wine and excellent explanation of the wine and cheese pairing with the food was insightful. The wine pouring was very liberal. The service was outstanding.

So, we will be giving the Inn more chances. The people operating the Inn are working hard to make it something special.

We have eaten here before and were quite happy with the food and wine selection, but the prices were extremely high. The hotel and restaurant was sold to new owners in early 2013. The food selection and quality is at least as good as before if not better, and the prices have been significantly reduced (maybe 20% - 25% cheaper?). The wine prices are also significantly cheaper, both for the less expensive bottles and also the premium stuff (maybe 30% less in some cases). Once again they have the same wide selection of local wines as the previous owners. The bar also has a selection of my favourite local microbrew's products on tap for a good price.Service was efficient and friendly and all of the other people we spoke to were as happy as we were. We will be coming here much more frequently. Would not hesitate to reccomend the place.

The food was good. Service a bit slow because the inn was closing for the season, in a couple of days.

This hidden little restaurant is one of my favourite places to go with girlfriends to tuck away in a dark corner while we gossip and eat our fill of the delicious bread rounds and little antipasti offerings which you can choose to go with it. We always enjoy the local wine and beer as well. The service is always friendly, prompt and professional. I definitely recommend it!
