The family (adult children and a baby granddaughter) my husband and I stopped in for a very enjoyable lunch at this beautiful spot. The winery is charming, one of the more quaint choices of the many options on the Naramata Bench. There is an extra effort at Lake Breeze, beautiful unique flowers and plants surround the entire visitors area. White stucco with wood windows give a Tuscany feel to the place with little court yards and paths.
There were 5 adults and the baby without a reservation and arriving a little late in the day as the patio closes at 3:30, but they happily sat us quickly and offered a cool glass of wine while we perused the menu. The options were excellent, from warm veggie panini style sandwich to sauteed halibut , Being a vegetarian, I had the soup and the sandwich option, my son had the fish served over fresh vegetables, my daughter had the crab salad. All was prepared and presented well. The restaurant has their own herb garden and used these along with micro-greens to enhance the dishes.
The patio is pleasant and private, surrounded by more of the beautiful flowers and shrubs that adorn the entire property. The service was friendly and efficient. Our server went out of her way to make sure we had something for the baby and offered pasta or grilled cheese - non of which was on the menu, so we were both impressed and grateful. We were expecting slightly higher prices, since it was all so nicely done. The bill was around $220 for 2 bottles of wine (and an extra glass for me), our meals, 2 appetizers and 2 desserts. The only thing missing was a view of the lake, but that's being kind of picky. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and then went on to taste the wines, which I would recommend you do first, but we were in a hurry to get the table before they closed.
