Owner description: Nestled deep within the natural beauty of the Kuskanax Valley, the Nakusp Hot Springs offers over 200 acres of year round outdoor recreation opportunities. Located 12 km NE of Nakusp, the Hot Springs are nestled amongst nature's splendour, along the Kuskanax Creek. Come for a restorative soak in the mineral pools after taking a hike on the many trails in the surrounding area. Stay at our cozy Chalets or in our Campground for the full experience. Visit our spectacular Kuskanax Creek Footbridge just a short walk from the Hotsprings. The source of our mineral water and original site of the Hotsprings are also accessible by hiking trails. For the more adventurous, try a day hike to the beautiful Kimbol Lake.

Love coming here especially in the winter, as it is a good drive up the mountains to where the springs are. The chalets are a bit dated as someone on here said but they are cozy, clean and decently priced. I liked that they have kitchenettes in them as there is no where to eat here. Great hike in the mossy cedar forest to the springs source. 2 smaller pools make this place intimate.

We have been to the hots springs for yrs and like it this year decided to stay at chalets,,they are clean and neat a bit dated but i could live with that,,the only problems we had was the lock on main door wouldn't work and i had a hard time unlocking the bathroom door,,and the t,v was very old picture was terrible the chalet was very cold when we arrived and had to run the heater the whole night they should consider updating the heating very old too they do provide a plug in oil heater that didn't produce much heat , we did have a good time the pool was nice and clean but i think providing a temp for the hot tub would be a great ideas they do at other hots springs,,,over all i would return for another visit

This was a really relaxing day on our trip. We were there mid week so there was only a few other people there. Reasonably priced and well signposted (it is a wee way off of the main highway but you can't miss the signposted turn offs) it is a nice a relaxing spot right beside the mountains. 2 pools, with the bigger one being slightly cool and the smaller one around 40 degrees, I think. I am always disappointed at the lack of reclining chairs/beach loungers at these pools, they do have noodles to float around on which is so nice! It is also funny watching other people fall asleep on the noodles and their heads bob around (face up of course!).
Really nice bathrooms and plenty of space.
You have to pay for a locker which is about $2 or maybe $5 I can't remember.
After a couple of hours here you will float home.
Remember to drink plenty of water!

We stayed at this campground with our friends and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, the campground was clean. Pet friendly. A 2 minute walk to a brand new trestle over a canyon, beautiful. The office was clean, and the showers located adjacent to office were clean. We stayed in the seniors section of campground which was a stone throw from the pool. We were completely surrounded by forest which was super, and no mosquitos which was even better. We went in august. We did drive to the natural hot springs which was 21.5 km down the highway from the exit to drive up to nakusp hot springs. Then another 11 km down a logging road, these hot springs were situated amongst the river bank. Easy drive in, and about a 5 minute walk down a hill to river. Loved this.

Located at the top of a 12 kilometres dead end road, the setting of the Nakusp hotsprings is beautiful. From the hot springs, you can hear the roaring river and see the tops of the tall trees. The hot springs are clean and well kept. If you like camping, settle into a campsite within steps of the hotsprings and have a soak to end and start your day!
