“A wonderful experience for your taste buds and wallet!”
Reviewed August 10, 2014 via mobile

We stopped here with a group of friends after camping and would drive several miles to eat here again. All the meals were delicious. There was nothing ordinary or common on the menu. With the salmon Benny, French toast with caramel sauce, banana and bacon,or the smashed avo ( ciabatta bun, poached egg, feta and balsamic glaze etc.) Nothing better than sitting on a patio with good friends and out if this world food! We would travel a few hours just to eat here again.

“I would definitely go back.”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

I had a panini for lunch one day and the smashed avo for breakfast the next day. We found that the menu and food were wonderful. These were by far the best meals we have ordered in a long time and we will go back next time we are in Grand Forks.

“Best breakfast EVER!”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

We had waffles and a mushroom/pesto/feta/poached egg on bread breakfast sandwich, sat outside on the deck, and were served by a very friendly and efficient waitress. It couldn't have been more delicious or cute! All the food was extremely fresh. We hope to go again before we leave town. They are closed on Mondays. You won't be disappointed eating here - is a breakfast/lunch spot not to be missed!

“Best place to eat in Grand Forks!”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

This little bistro has BY FAR the best food in town! The menu offers fresh options, something different from the other restaurants in Grand Forks. "The Burg" (quinoa and mushroom burger) is to die for, also love the "Smashed Avo" (poached eggs, chorizo sausage, avocados, and feta) and "The Sandy" (breakfast sandwich). I regularly get muffins for meetings - they always have lots of choices in the baked goods cabinet. I also love this place because it is owned by a young couple who grew up in Grand Forks, and have returned to the community to settle down. When I go our for lunch or breakfast in Grand Forks, I wouldn't go anywhere else than the Wooden Spoon!

“great fresh food, creative combinations”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

There's no place like this in Grand Forks. Kayla has put together some of the most mouth-watering dishes that make me want to try them all. Very generous portions, lots of gooey deserts (big portions!) and a fun atmosphere. This place is a sleeper from the outside, but the addition of the sitting deck makes it much more inviting . Its one of those places you almost don't want to tell the world about, its that good!
